Product Description
Region : AOC Saint-Emilion is located in Libourne, on the right bank of the Dordogne, and gives its name to two appelations: Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. The vineyard is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
This AOC covers 5600 hectares and produces an average of 235,000 hl/year of red wines.

Winemaking : Manual harvesting. Classical vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. Cold maceration before fermentation. Long vatting (30-35 days).
Ageing on lees, 100% in new French oak barrels.
The Colour : A dense purple-colored wine.
The Smell : A stunning bouquet of blackberry jam, graphite, charcoal and bluberries.

Serving Suggestions :
Serve at 17-18 °C with confit of suckling lamb, grilled rib steak and candied shallots or with traditional coq au vin, along with pan-fried potatoes and boletus mushrooms. This wine will be perfect with Pata Negra ham, panfried foie gras or with desserts such as melted dark chocolate cake and raspberry tart.
