Product Description
Region : Touraine is located on the sedimentary Parisian basin formed during the Mesozoic era from marine deposits. These deposits consist of white chalk called “tuffeau”. The top most layer of deposit, which has less limestone but is rich in clay and silica, forms the “flint clay” that covers the plateau.

Cultural method : The vineyard is biodynamic. No use of chemical products. The soils are plowed. The preparations used are only from plant, animal and mineral materials. The harvest is done manually.
Winemaking : The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature with indigenous yest.
The Colour : Rubis with a hint of purple typical of the Cabernet Franc.
The Smell : The nose is charming with its notes of red fruits such as cherry or raspberry.
The Taste : The mouth is supple, fruity and well balanced. The finish has delicate spicy notes of white pepper, which remind one of the presence of Pineau d’Aunis.
Serving Suggestions : Perfect with charcuterie, white meat, savory pies or grilled meats.
To serve between 14 and 15°C.
Aging Capacity : 2 to 3 years.
