Product Description
Region : AOC Saint-Emilion is located in Libourne on the right bank of the Dordogne and gives its name to two appelations: Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. The vineyard is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
This AOC covers 5600 hectares and produces an average of 235,000 hl/year of red wines.
The vineyard is located South-West of the village of Saint-Emilion, 40 kilometres East of Bordeaux, between Libourne and Saint-Emilion. Its wine production is almost confidential but definitively deserves the attention of connoisseurs. The Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation spreads on 9 communes. It is in this appellation that some growths are chosen to be ranked “Grand Cru Classé A ou B”. A classification reviewed regularly (first
in 1958 – last in 2012), contrary to the classification of 1855. Saint-Emilion Grand Cru enjoys an outstanding terroir from where emerge exceptional growths.

Winemaking : Classical vinification in stainless steel vats. Regular pumping-over and release. Maceration for 25 days.
Aged in oak barrels during 12 month. 33% of the barrels are new.
The Colour : Beautiful intense and deep ruby red colour.
The Smell : The bouquet reveals toasted notes enhancing ripe red fruit aromas.
The Taste : The palate is generous, fleshy with pleasantly woody tannins.
Serving Suggestions :
Serve at 17-18 °C with roasted rabbit, grilled fillet of duck breast or pan-fried boletus mushrooms. This wine will be the perfect partnet for a good selection of cheeses such as Brie, Comté or cheese made with sheep milk.
Aging Capacity : From 5 to 10 years.
