Product Description
Region : AOC Saint-Georges-Saint-Emilion is a satellite of the Saint-Emilion and Libourne regions. Separated from the plateau of Saint-Emilion by the Barbanne river, the name just covers 200 hectares and produces around 9000 hl/year of red wines.
The vineyard, bordering Saint-Emilion appellation, is located on South facing hilltop, 2 km from the villages of Saint-Emilion and Montagne.

Winemaking : Classical vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats covered in wood, and in thermo-regulated concrete vats. Ageing for 12 to 18 months in 250 barrels, with 30% of barrels renewed each year.
The Colour : A beautiful cherry-colour robe with a violet ring.
The Smell : This wine reveals scents of fruits with light spice shades mixed with rosted notes.
The Taste : It is round and supple, enhanced by pleasantly woody tannins.
Serving Suggestions :
Serve at 17-18 °C with a tasting-platter of Foie Gras, terrines, cooked meats and cheeses, capon cooked with figs and morels, ribs of veal and boletus mushrooms or with Wellington style fillet of beef.
