Product Description
Region : The Pouilly vineyard dates back to the fifth century in the Gallo-Roman era. Subsequently it had a boom thanks to the Benedictines. In the twelfth century, Pouilly wine was already renowned. It continued to prosper until 1890, when the phylloxera appeared. In the early twentieth century, the vineyard gained momentum, particularly in 1929. The wines of Pouilly then found their pedigree, which resulted in obtaining the appellation of Pouilly sur Loire in 1937.
The vines are grouped on forty hectares, for a production of 2250 hectoliters. This dry white wine comes from the Chasselas grape, a fresh and crunchy grape. Thirst wine par excellence, it should be drunk young, although it can easily be kept for 2 to 3 years.
