Product Description

Region : The vineyard stretches approximately 100 km North from the Eastern slopes of the Vosges. The production area, which covers 14,000 hectares, is between 200 and 400 meters above sea level. Sheltered by the Vosges from oceanic influences, the area has one of the lowest rainfalls in France (450 to 500 mm per year). The Alsace vineyard enjoys a sunny semi-continental climate – hot and dry. This climate is conducive to a long, slow ripening of the grapes and favors the emergence of aromas of great finesse.

Alsatian geology represents a true mosaic, from granite limestone through gneiss, schist and sandstone.
