Product Description
Region : AOC Jasnières belongs to the region of the Loire Valley. It is within the area of the Coteaux-du-Loir with a vineyard of 65 hectares.
Located on a single strongly sloping hillside, the soil of this AOC has the distinction of retaining heat due to small flint stones found in the soil. Its Southern orientation allows the production of 4800 hl of Chenin per year. The grape variety Chenin produces superb dry white wines. Sweet wines can be made from it during the best years.
To claim this appellation, the grapes must be picked at full maturity (they must contain no more than 153 g/l of sugar) and must be vinified according to local practice.
