Region : The vineyards of Alsace Grand Cru Eichberg are located in the town of Eguisheim, 6 kilometers South-West of Colmar in the Haut-Rhin. On the wine road of Alsace, Eichberg is located between Pfersigberg and Hatschbourg. The 57,62 ha of this vineyard are on slopes at altitudes between 220-350 m. The vineyard is exposed to the East, protected from the weather by the Vosges.

The wines of Alsace Grand Cru Eichberg are fruity and fine. Eichberg translates into ”hillside oaks”, “eiche” meaning oak and “berg” meaning hill.

The Taste : The mouth is fresh and crisp. The acidity is balanced by a good structure. The finish is particularly silky.

This Crand Cru is perfect with fish, lobster, scallop of Saint Jacques, sushi or white meat.

Served at 10-12 °C.
