Product Description
Region : The AOC Vouvray is located on the right bank of the Loire, near Tours, representing about 2200 hectares.
It is a hilly landscape, designed by plateaus and slopes with a base of limestone (Tuffeau), covered by a layer of clay, silt and sand. In this area the general climate is temperate oceanic with a continental influence.
The AOC Vouvray produces white wines only (117000 hl/year). The maturity of the grapes is advanced when the years are very sunny. Vouvray produces dry and semi-dry white wines that are the true representatives of this appellation.
